Islam grow in Burkina Faso while believers dropped

Islam, with 58% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.52%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Burkina Faso population, has dropped to 99.52%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 57% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 58% follow it.

The Burkina Faso’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 22.59% of the population.
