Suicides increase in Togo

In 2007 occurred 570 suicides in Togo. This year, 8 more people committed suicide than in 2006. In Togo, on average, at least one suicide happens every day.

Of the 570 recorded suicide cases in 2007, 412 were men suicides and 158 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 13.63 per 100,000 men and for women 5.23 per 100,000 female.
