Life expectancy improves in Afghanistan

In 2019 the life expectancy in Afghanistan increased to 63.57 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 66.68 years and for men 60.62 years.

Afghanistan’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 164th in 2018 to 163th in 2019.
