Christianity grow in Botswana while believers dropped

Christianity is the Botswana's top religion, around 57.39% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.86%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Botswana population, has dropped to 99.86%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 54.21% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 57.39% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Botswana, accounts for about 40% of the population.
