Animist Religions, with 50% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.63%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guinea-Bissau population, has increase to 98.63%. As to Animist Religions it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 53% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 50% follow it.

The Guinea-Bissau’s second-largest religion is Islam, accounts for about 35% of the population.
