Animist Religions grow in Guinea-Bissau while believers dropped

Animist Religions is the Guinea-Bissau's top religion, around 47.5% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.38%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guinea-Bissau population, has dropped to 98.38%. As to Animist Religions it has increased, the previous survey recorded 44% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 47.5% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Guinea-Bissau, accounts for about 39.91% of the population.
