Libya - Intentional self-harm

By 2001, suicides in Libya increased by 11 people to at 339 suicides

In Libya there were 6.44 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.88 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 339 recorded suicide cases in 2001, 241 were men suicides and 98 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 8.74 per 100,000 men and for women 3.88 per 100,000 female.
