CPI remains unchanged in Brazil

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in May of 2016 was 9.8%. The CPI (Consumer Price Index) remains steady than the month before,The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 4.6%

We must highlight the increase of 1.9% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 7.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -0.2%, and an interannual variation of 9.1%.
