Argentines CPI increased up to 8.8% year-on-year in March of 2008

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Argentina in March of 2008 was 8.8%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2008 is 2.6%

We must highlight the increase of 7.6% in the prices of Education, until its interannual rate reached 19.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of 0.2%, and an interannual variation of -3.4%.
