Hungarians CPI increased up to 15.6% year-on-year in August of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Hungary in August of 2022 was 15.6%, 19 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 13%

We must highlight the increase of 3.3% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 30.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -0.6%, and an interannual variation of 5.5%.
