In May, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 2.42% with respect to May of 2015. In total, 236,542 cars were registered and 3,113,410 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 6.09% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of May is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 32,957, 2.19% more than in May of 2015.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 203,585, which represents a figure of 2.46% more than in May of 2015.
