The price of electricity rises in Spain

The average price of electricity in Spain, in December of 2013, has been 0.2273€ per kilowatt hour. Electricity price has increased € 0.0045 kWh, 2.02% since the previous semester. Meanwhile, the average price of electricity without taxes in Spain in that period was € 0.1787 per kilowatt hour, compared to € 0.1752 kWh in the previous semester. The price of electricity excluding taxes increased by 2%.

In the last twelve months the price of electricity in Spain has fallen by 0.11%.

In Spain, the price of electricity reached its maximum price, € 0.2275kWh, in December of 2012. Its minimum price was €0.1366 kWh, corresponding to June of 2008.

Spain is among the European countries with the most expensive electricity.
