Paraguay - Intentional self-harm

By 2001, suicides in Paraguay increased by 28 people to at 533 suicides In Paraguay, on average, at least one suicide happens every day.

Suicide is a very important cause of death in the world and also in Paraguay. However, in Paraguay in 2001 there were there were 1,314 homicides, and therefore, number of deaths by murder is far greater than people to take their own lives. There were 2.5 homicides per suicide.
