Ghanaians CPI goes down to 23.2%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in May of 2024 was 23.2%, 19 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 3.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2024 is 9.7%

We must highlight the increase of 10.6% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 20.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of 1.3%, and an interannual variation of 20.5%.
