In 2022 Malta public debt was 9,000 million euros9,488 million dollars, has increased 737317 million since 2021.
This amount means that the debt in 2022 reached 51.6% of Malta GDP, a 2.3 percentage point fall from 2021, when it was 53.9% of GDP.
