The average price of electricity in Bulgaria, in December of 2008, has been 0.0823€ per kilowatt hour. Electricity price has increased € 0.0112 kWh, 15.75% since the last semester. Meanwhile, the average price of electricity without taxes in Bulgaria in that period was € 0.0685 per kilowatt hour, compared to € 0.0593 kWh in the previous semester. The price of electricity excluding taxes increased by 15.51%.

In the last twelve months the price of electricity in Bulgaria has increased by 13.6%.

From 2007 until now, the highest price of electricity in Bulgaria has been € 0.0823 kWh, in December of 2008, while in June of 2008, electricity price was € 0.0711 kWh, its minimum price in this period.
