The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malaysia population, has remained to 99.56%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 58.6% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 59.54% follow it.
Buddhism is the second most practiced religion in Malaysia, accounts for about 18.2% of the population.
