Samoa - Intentional self-harm

In 2001 occurred 16 suicides in Samoa, the same people committed suicide than in 2000.

Samoa had 8.92 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.88 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 16 recorded suicide cases in 2001, 12 were men suicides and 3 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 12.73 per 100,000 men and for women 3.75 per 100,000 female.
