Tanzanians CPI goes down to 3.4%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in March of 2020 was 3.4%, 3 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 2.7%

We must highlight the increase of 3.4% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 4.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Restaurants and hotels of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 0.7%.
