CPI remains unchanged in Tanzania

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in February of 2020 was 3.7%. The CPI (Consumer Price Index) remains steady than the month before,The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 1.6%

We must highlight the increase of 3.1% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 4.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of 0%, and an interannual variation of 0.1%.
