Costa Ricans CPI goes down to 0.7%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Costa Rica in January of 2017 was 0.7%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.6%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2017 is 0.6%

We must highlight the increase of 1.9% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached -0.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -2.5%, and an interannual variation of 0.1%.
