Belizeans CPI increased up to 4.5% year-on-year in February of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Belize in February of 2022 was 4.5%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 0.9%

We must highlight the increase of 3.5% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 16.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of -1%.
