In July, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 4.04% with respect to July of 2005. In total, 195,052 cars were registered and 2,766,391 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 3.66% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of July is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 27,037, 3.42% less than in July of 2005.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 168,015, which represents a figure of 4.14% less than in July of 2005.
