CO2 emissions, in Kuwait in 2017, have fallen 1.009 megatons, 1.04% compared to 2016.
CO2 emissions in 2017 were 95.909 megatons, making Kuwait is the 142th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Kuwait, have decreased in 2017, in which they have been 23.19 tons per inhabitant.
Kuwait belongs to the group of countries that emit the most CO2 per inhabitant.
If you look at evolution f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Kuwait, has emitted 0.46 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, more than in 2016.
