Life expectancy in Iceland is reduced to 83.1 years

In 2020 the life expectancy in Iceland decreased to 83.1 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 84.6 years and for men 81.6 years.

Iceland’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 11th in 2019 to 9th in 2020.
