In May, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 0.43% with respect to May of 2010. In total, 173,824 cars were registered and 2,253,098 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 5.94% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of May is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 23,393, 17.05% more than in May of 2010.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 150,431, which represents a figure of 1.74% less than in May of 2010.
