In June, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 11.15% with respect to June of 2009. In total, 218,709 cars were registered and 2,417,297 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 16.57% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of June is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 23,483, 14.53% more than in June of 2009.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 195,226, which represents a figure of 10.76% more than in June of 2009.
