In January, vehicle registrations in Luxembourg grew by 8.81% with respect to January of 2005. In total, 4,572 cars were registered and 53,492 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 1.79% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of January is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 405, 0.98% less than in January of 2005.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 4,167, which represents a figure of 9.86% more than in January of 2005.
