Population can be defined in different ways, depending on the discipline from which we define it.
In general, we can say that population is the number of people living in a given place or area at a given time.
From the point of view of demography, population is a set of people that is renewed because new individuals enter it, either by birth or immigration, and others leave it because they emigrate or die.
