April of 2020 CPI went up in Lebanon

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Lebanon in April of 2020 was 46.6%, 291 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 25.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 39.3%

We must highlight the increase of 50.5% in the prices of Communication, until its interannual rate reached 76.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -3%, and an interannual variation of -1.1%.
