Lebanon: CPI goes up in May of 2020

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Lebanon in May of 2020 was 56.5%, 99 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 6.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 48.9%

We must highlight the increase of 6% in the prices of Recreation and culture, until its interannual rate reached 60.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -1.2%, and an interannual variation of -2.4%.
