CPI falls in May of 2021 in Iceland

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Iceland in May of 2021 was 4.4%, 2 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2021 is 2.3%

We must highlight the increase of 1.1% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 3.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -1.5%, and an interannual variation of -3%.
