In 2016 Trinidad and Tobago public debt was 7,644 million euros 8,461 million dollars, has increased 1,3261,451 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 37.51% of Trinidad and Tobago GDP, a 9.62 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 27.89% of GDP.
