Libya - Intentional self-harm

In 2013 around 417 suicides occurred in Libya, 6 more than in 2012. In Libya, on average, at least one suicide happens every year.

Libya reported 6.65 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.78 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 417 recorded suicide cases in 2013, 325 were men suicides and 92 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 10.66 per 100,000 men and for women 3.14 per 100,000 female.
