Chinese CPI increased up to 1.3% year-on-year in May of 2021

The annual variation rate of the CPI in China in May of 2021 was 1.3%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2021 is 0.4%

We must highlight the increase of 0.6% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached -0.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -1%, and an interannual variation of 0.8%.
