Seychellois CPI increased up to 1.5% year-on-year in January of 2017

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Seychelles in January of 2017 was 1.5%, 17 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2017 is 1.1%

We must highlight the increase of 4.4% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 5.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Recreation and culture of -1.5%, and an interannual variation of 4%.
