Dutch CPI increased up to 12% year-on-year in August of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Netherlands in August of 2022 was 12%, 17 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 8.7%

We must highlight the increase of 5.2% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 22.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of -3%.
