CPI Ghana August of 2016

Ghanaians CPI increased up to 16.9% year-on-year in August of 2016

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in August of 2016 was 16.9%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.6%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 11.6%

We must highlight the increase of 0% in the prices of Health, until its interannual rate reached 14.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -1.4%, and an interannual variation of 8.5%.
