Ghanaians CPI goes down to 16.7%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in July of 2016 was 16.7%, 17 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 12.3%

We must highlight the increase of 2.8% in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance, until its interannual rate reached 23%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -0.8%, and an interannual variation of 8.6%.
