The annual variation rate of the CPI in Bulgaria in August of 2022 was 17.7%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 12.6%

We must highlight the increase of 5.2% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 26.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -3.8%, and an interannual variation of 22.8%.
