Brazil: CPI goes up in April of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in April of 2022 was 12.5%, 8 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 4.5%

We must highlight the increase of 2.3% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 13.4%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -1.2%, and an interannual variation of 14%.
