In July, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 13.02% with respect to July of 2007. In total, 180,478 cars were registered and 2,759,630 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 0.23% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of July is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 27,058, 13.3% less than in July of 2007.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 153,420, which represents a figure of 12.97% less than in July of 2007.
