In March, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 1.02% with respect to March of 2007. In total, 511,381 cars were registered and 2,801,314 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 1.87% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 59,739, 4.92% more than in March of 2007.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 451,642, which represents a figure of 0.52% more than in March of 2007.
