Public debt in Ireland goes down

In 2015 Ireland public debt was 201,674 million euros223,788 million dollars, has decreased 1,70846,481 million since 2014.

This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 76.5% of Ireland GDP, a 27.5 percentage point fall from 2014, when it was 104% of GDP.

If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ireland debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 44,371 million euros 55,232 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 26.1%.

According to the last data point published, Ireland per capita debt in 2015 was 42,671 euros47,350 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 43,480 euros 57,779 dollars, afterwards dropping by 809 euros 10,429dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 10,544 euros13,125 dollars .
