National debt fell in Ireland

In 2016 Ireland public debt was 200,635 million euros222,022 million dollars, has decreased 1,0391,761 million since 2015.

This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 74.4% of Ireland GDP, a 2.1 percentage point fall from 2015, when it was 76.5% of GDP.

If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ireland debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 43,724 million euros 54,903 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 23.6%.

According to the last data point published, Ireland per capita debt in 2016 was 41,935 euros46,406 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 42,671 euros 47,349 dollars, afterwards dropping by 736 euros 943dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 10,074 euros12,650 dollars .
