Human Development Index - HDI

Known as HDI, this is an indicator of a nation's human development and progress developed by the United Nations. It analyzes factors related to the economy, education and health in different countries. Among the variables studied are life expectancy at birth, years of schooling and wealth.

By means of the geometric mean of the results of each of the areas studied, a figure between zero and one is obtained, thanks to which we can compare and classify the countries in four categories of development: very high, high, medium and low.
