In 2013 occurred 2,720 suicides in Uzbekistan. This year, 305 more people committed suicide than in 2012. In 2013, on average 7 Uzbeks committed suicide every day.

Uzbekistan had 9.07 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.78 self-harm per 100.000 people.
