South Sudan had 7.57 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.12 self-harm per 100.000 people.
Of the 608 recorded suicide cases in 2006, 440 were men suicides and 168 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 11.17 per 100,000 men and for women 4.12 per 100,000 female.
