Trinidadians CPI increased up to 8.6% year-on-year in October of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Trinidad and Tobago in October of 2022 was 8.6%, 24 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 3.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 9.1%

We must highlight the increase of 7.4% in the prices of Restaurants and hotels, until its interannual rate reached 12.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of -4%, and an interannual variation of -1.7%.
