The annual variation rate of the CPI in Trinidad and Tobago in April of 2022 was 5.1%, 10 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 2.3%

We must highlight the increase of 3.8% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 5.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -1%, and an interannual variation of -0.1%.
